here are the sightings for the last two days, the weather has been cold and rain on and off so hope it brings something down.
27th April Wombwell Ings
Present were 16 Canada Geese, 15 Greylag, 2 Shelduck, 32 Gadwall, 12 Mallard, 12 Wigeon, 10 Tufted Duck, 4 Teal, 3 Shoveler, 7 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 6 Lapwing, 5 Little Ringed Plover, 4 Avocet, 3 Redshank, 3 Common Sandpiper, 1 Dunlin, 15 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 6 Skylark, 3 Pied Wagtail, 3 Linnet and 2 Reed Bunting.
Broomhill Flash
Noted were 2 Mute Swan, 7 Canada Geese, 2 Shelduck, 14 Gadwall, 12 Tufted Duck, 9 Pochard, 5 Mallard, 5 Teal, 2 Shoveler, 1 Wigeon, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 6 Little Grebe, 11 Coot, 3 Moorhen, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Red Legged Partridge, 7 Lapwing, 6 LBB Gull and 5 Herring Gull.

Singing males 12 Willow Warbler, 8 Chiffchaff, 4 Blackcap and 1 yaffling Green Woodpecker.
Bolton Ings
On the open water were 2 Mute Swan, 5 Greylag, 1 Canada Goose, 11 Tufted Duck, 6 Pochard, 6 Gadwall, 2 Mallard, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Little Grebe, 47+1y Coot, 240+ BH Gull and 1 Common Gull. Also present were 1 Grey Heron, 1 Swift, 2 Song Thrush, 2 Whitethroat, 1 reeling Grasshopper Warbler, 1 singing Sedge Warbler and 2 Bullfinch.
26th April Wombwell Ings
Present were 27 Greylag, 22 Canada Geese, 3 Shelduck, 34 Gadwall, 12 Wigeon, 7 Mallard, 7 Tufted Duck, 3 Shoveler, 1 Cormorant, 8 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 4 Lapwing, 4 Avocet, 3 Redshank, 3 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Ringed Plover, 2 Common Sandpiper, 17 BH Gull, 6+ Skylark, 4 Rook, 2 Mistle Thrush, 2 Wheatear, 2 Pied Wagtail and 5 Linnet. K.Fisher also had a female Peregrine over at 7.30am and 4 Teal.

On the open water were 1 Mute Swan, 10 Greylag, 1 Canada Goose, 9 Pochard, 8 Gadwall, 7 Tufted Duck, 6 Mallard, 1 Teal, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 49+3y Coot and 320+ BH Gull. 2 Whitethroat, 1 Cetti’s Warbler and 1 Sedge Warbler were singing near the hide. Also present were 1 Kestrel and 1 LBB Gull.
