Broomhill Birder

Hi Again,

an early start to the day looked promising but as the day wore on the weather become more Colder with wind and rain.  Although the weather turned a little there was a ray of sunshine by the name of Red-throated Diver, a bird was picked up in the “next” car park at 5am this morning and brought to the RSPB Oldmoor reserve where it was released onto the back reservoir at around 4.pm.  The bird seems to be swimming and diving with no problems at all and took two fish by the hand before being released onto the reservoir.  Hopefully the bird will survive and feed as normal.  Anyway here are todays sightings from the Broomhill Flash Nature Reservoir today 13th April.
