Hi All,

7th September was a little cooler with light cloud but we had Snipe 1, Greenshank 1, Grey Heron 5.

Also Pochard 9, Great Crested Grebe 1 Juvenile, Black-necked Grebe 1, Little Grebe 8, Cormorant 11, Lesser Blackbacked Gull 1, Mallard 8, Shovelor 3, Teal 9, Gadwall 38, Tufted Duck 7, Greylag Goose 7.

With Grey Wagtail 1 Juvenile, Swallow c30, House Martin C10 and Kestrel 1.

 

We also did Bolton Ings and had 2 Kingfisher on the River Dearne  with Little Egret, Ruff and 8 Greensandpiper visible from Warbler Way.

 

On Bolton Ings itself there were 4 Great Crested Grebe with 3 Juveniles, 17 Mallard, 16 Gadwall, 19 Tufted Duck, 13 Little Grebe + 1 Juvenile, Mute Swan were 2 with a brood of 2 and 2 and a brood of 3, 15 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 5 Pochard, 1 Lesser Blackbacked Gull, 1 Shovelor and 1 Kestrel and 1 Sparrowhawk.
