Hi everyone,
it’s been a few frantic days in my area with the only second recording of a Glossy Ibis since 1975 or there about. The Glossy Ibis stayed around for around 3 days and started off at Adwick Washland where it moved over RSPB Oldmoor then onto Broomhill Flash and the finally onto Wombwell Ings where it stayed a couple of day. Anyway a few updates to get on with starting with todays sightings 6th May which included a few Garganey in the area.

Wombwell Ings mid AM–
Glossy Ibis showed well until 8.10am but went into hiding when disturbed by a dog walker. Relocated it about 9am and was able to make a few birders journeys worthwhile.
